Another week, another #web3 conference. This time, it’s ETHDenver and the Year of the Spork!
This event, as a festival designed for builders, is sure to be a telltale sign of what the industry players are seeing for not only the rest of the first quarter but the rest of the year and beyond.
After recently experiencing the European Blockchain Convention, which included a great deal of builders engaging with the community, we are really excited to learn more about what those state-side are thinking.
Some of the hot topics include exploring what’s next for regulations, the fundraising landscape, market entrants and key new hires in the web3 space.
So, if you are heading to the Rocky Mountains this week, we compiled a list of what you should be sure not to miss while geeking out with the Ethereum community.
- CryptoMondays with Lou Kerner on Monday, February 27. Unfortunately, we will miss this due to our flight arriving on Tuesday. But if you are in Denver on Monday, be sure to register and meet up with their guest, CEO of the NEAR Foundation Marieke Flament. Lou and his team always bring the heat when it comes to their guests including past collabs with Grit Daily at Grit Daily House. No one else knows and understands the industry better.
- What’s Next for NFTs: As if this isn’t something we would all like to know! To learn more about NFTs – including royalties, creator protection and more – check out this panel happening on February 28. A lot of good discussion topics are on the docket – so drop by and take a listen if you can.
- BitAngels Pitch Competition: Who doesn’t love a good pitch competition? Honestly, this is one of my favorite things to do while at a web3 event. If we aren’t investing in new ideas, we won’t continue to grow. This panel on March 1 is a chance to hear more about what the up-and-comers are working on, offering some perspective on how fundraising in this unique environment entails.
- While it may not be the most popular topic for degens, regulation is not, as we recently noted, a “nice to have.” It is a must have. So, why not stop by the Stablecoin Regulation: Something To Fear or Welcome? panel on March 2? This is your chance to hear the industry chatter first-hand.
- If bad actors in the industry have you down, check out the panel on How to Stop Crypto Scams From Impacting Your Community And Users, on March 3. If we’ve all had enough (and I reckon we have) of the SBF’s of the world, then let’s make it a point to address the scams that have wreaked havoc on this industry for way too long.
There are, of course, many other exciting panels happening, along with some really cool and fun events.

If you are around this week, give us a shout. As always, #WAGMI!
